Q: Do you have a religious background or upbringing?

A: I do. I was raised and found my faith in the Christian church, where I was also baptized. I maintain a firm belief in God, which I have heard called by many names, of which I am sure you have your own way of reference. I combine this belief with what I have learned through the years. Without this upbringing and my belief, I doubt I would be able to help people very well at all.

Q:
When you sense things as a medium, do you actually see physical form of spiritual people?

A: Actually, not that often. I mostly feel the presence of spiritual beings, which then turns into different forms of communication. I do not see physical manifestations that often. When the occasion comes up and they are directly visible, it only serves to strengthen the importance of what they are trying to get across to me.

Q:
Were you born with these gifts?

A: I believe so, though the first time I remember seeing anything 'odd' was at the age of 5. My first recollection of a premonition was of my sister when I was around 8. As I matured in life, so did my gifts and talents. Each of them came along when I was mature enough to understand their nature and how they fit into my life.

Q:
Is being a psychic or medium something you can teach someone else?

A: Through the years, I have found people who have the gifts, in different levels of intensity and understanding, and through a course of dialogue have been able to help them along. At this time, however, time constraints do not allow me to work with individual people to help mentor them in this process.

Q:
If someone feels negative spirits around them or their home, do you advocate they take action themselves to get rid of it?

A: No. I strongly suggest finding local reputable metaphysical people (including clergy with whom your comfortable), and ask them for guidance and insight. Attempting to go it alone may only aggravate any situation around you. At no time should you try and take action before you seek input from someone.

Q:
Do you pick up anything when touching items someone has?

A: Yes, I do. The process is call psychometry, and it is something I do often when reading for people. Usually, I prefer to work with a persons items like jewelry (that only they wear), or something that has much symbolic meaning to them. When I work as a medium, pictures or items of those who have passed on bring information to my understanding.
